Hello Everyone!

Wedding invitations are out, so be on the lookout.

To get a jump on things, I’ve assembled some local lodging options and information for those making the trip out.
Robin and I would love to host all of you, but think you’ll be more comfortable in your own digs. Imagine a collection of sleeping bags on the floor throughout the house, and with only one full bath, we’d need to start shower rotations on Friday morning, ha!

Closest Cool Village to Kissing Bridge

East Aurora is the nearest town with lots of restaurants, bars, galleries, and is a charming and very walkable village.

There are two hotel options in East Aurora, Hampton Inn and The Roycroft Inn.

Hampton Inn
As of yesterday there was availability for 9/26, but not 9/27. However, that may depend on number of guests and room needs. Cancellations do occur, and here’s a PDF with instructions on how to book a reservation to receive a wedding discount.

Roycroft Inn
A historically significant hotel and example of the Arts & Crafts art and design movement.

Other Lodging Options

Vrbo (searched Glenwood, NY for 9/26 – 9/28)
At a glance there seemed to be a decent variety, even some options in East Aurora.

Airbnb (searched Glenwood, NY for 9/26 – 9/28)
Pickings were slim, but options change.
Other close locations are Springville, Orchard Park, Hamburg, and West Seneca.

Downtown Buffalo is about a half hour from Kissing Bridge, and we have no traffic. So, lodging options can be expanded to Buffalo.
