“We found a way to combine travel and adventure in a place we loved with our love for publication design.”
Having been lifelong travelers to Mexico’s Baja Peninsula and presented with the opportunity to design and publish a magazine on the region, we jumped at the chance. Securing investors and a solid team to support the effort, we founded and published this unique travel and lifestyle magazine showcasing Baja California, Mexico. The project was an example of teamwork at its best, everyone doing what needs to get done to create the best quality publication we could.
From ad sales, sourcing editorial, writing, photography, distribution, subscription management and fulfillment, designing ads, curating, and editing the magazine, traveling up and down the peninsula to get the best stories, interviewing heads of state departments, developers and celebrities, this magazine was a labor of love. In addition to newsstand and subscription circulation, this magazine was distributed in-flight on Aero California airlines and was a catalyst for our Baja-specific advertising department.
